Èkó Sound

the brief

Make a year-in-review deck for a Lagos record label, in an African-textile direction.

Èkó Sound is a fictional Lagos label looking back on 2025: streams, artists, songs, big moments and plans for 2026. I wanted it loud and confident, but mostly type.

my direction

1. 01

   Took the Nkabom poster as the reference: paper, brown and mustard.

2. 02

   Chunky Dela Gothic with a mustard offset shadow.

3. 03

   A dashed border and triangle markers on every slide. No illustration.

4. 04

   Chose song names the display fonts can render, so no Yoruba letter breaks.
